Butterfly Beginnings

From Studio to Field

At the age of 11, Jazii created a talk show pilot for Bronxnet TV - Metamorphosis Media Magic. Although studios closed for COVID safety, Jazii continued her dream of showing her talent using social media platforms.

As a participant of Butterfly Scholars productions since 2012, Jazii learned how to use the camera and perform additional crew roles for field and studio production.  She continues to learn her craft and teaches other kids how to use media with positivity and professionalism.

Jazii's bright smile and relatable personality are the skills she uses to keep the crowd going.

 

Jazii has been a master of ceremonies for talent shows, parties and community events throughout New York City.

 

Recently she co-hosted a Halloween kids showcase and community party at Bronxlandia with Sincere Quinones and amazing talent like The Dowe Twins, Aura, Team2Crafty, Battle Bear and more!

Jazii's love of fashion takes her to fashion shows where she has not only interviewed designers but also walked as a model on the runway with their designs. 

In the past year she has walked for Trap House Kids Fashion Show, Developing Leaders of Tomorrow and 914 Hair & Fashion Show

art is life

Art Curator

Jazii is a visual artist who not only illustrates her own sketches but also searches around the city to find mural art that inspires. She believes that art is life and mixes trendy styles with mural art in her creative perspective of the world.

Jasmine has been part of the production crew for the "Kids Want To Know Show" traveling around the tri-state area with international kid host Sincere Quinones. Sincere encouraged Jazii to be a guest host for his show where he coached Jazii on reporting and interviewing changemakers.

Jazii has used her influence as a teen ambassador to speak up about body positivity, self love and confidence in teens. She has intereviewed and partnered with several organizations focusing on mental health and emotional wellness.
